As an officer in a large Kurzick alliance, we often discuss Faction needs. I spend a lot of time JQing on PvP characters, and it would be helpful if I were able to take a look at the current faction status of the various towns in the Forest and the Sea.

So, I propose that when a PvP character is in JQ or FA, that all the towns be put on the map just like normal, but with an injunction that PvP characters cannot travel to PvE towns.

all day? Please. If it's that important every 5 minutes, take a pve character to JQ or FA and use that. Don't waste dev time trying to code against something that's been a part of the game since day 1.

I like how the community doesn't care about dev time when they ask for something, but when someone suggests something they have no need for (I doubt any of you even do PvP), they're all about saving precious development hours. Hypocrites.

Not really....when it's something the game really needs the Devs should do something about it, but when it's just a matter of checking faction for towns, please. Get a PvE character and FA/JQ. I do. It's really not that hard.

While I don't PvP on a regular basis, I have been in guilds where I needed to keep track of Kurzick faction for my alliance in the past.

Back then, I never once complained of needing to see the faction of my town while doing AB or FA. I just pressed G to see how much my alliance needed and kept an eye on the line - knowing where the towns generally are.

Or I was on a PvE character.

I sign other suggestions that are needed, I don't sign unneeded suggestions. This is just a "lazy player" way out. Not much more.

I my self spend alot of time pvping. Being a dedicated Ha and gvg person for the past few years. Imo Jade quarry and FortAspenwood are low forms of pvp. Im not saying this to flame anyone or say it isnt pvp because imo i could take a monk in on either one and A. Heal gate gaurds or turtles or juggs. B. This means I am not fighting another player i am meaninglessly healing or protting npc's. Now as far as it goes for showing the towns if your on a pvp char. Y? Y does it matter if your looking to see how much faction it costs to control it. IMO it is like an expensive store. If u have to ask the price u can't afford it. Same goes here if you have to see how much faction it takes u can't afford it.

Off Topic for a sec:

If i do say so myself, about the precious dev hours.. I've asked about small implementations in the game before, simple small things. And i think even a large group of people i've witnessed asking for something. I think a small change to the friend's list so messages couldn't be sent by people offline/dnd or ignoring YOU to cut down on them people that do that shit in PvP. Or a friend's only mode where only you can only PM to your friends and your friends can PM you. Stuff like that.

A few weeks later the shortened skill descriptions came out............................................... .................................................. .................................................. ........................

Wonder how many precious hours were wasted on this feature that im sure 5 people in the game use?
